Work From Home! was part of the Carnegie Mellon 2017 MFA Thesis Show "FAM" at The Miller Gallery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

(Installation photos by Tom Little)

in this immersive and interactive installation I explored “the new homemaking” through a fictional family,

The FamilyTM , as they live-stream their daily life onto their YouTube channel.

With the advent of connected, mobile technologies, the home is no longer a private refuge, but a semi-public,

performance space, often generating income through ad revenue.

by Mimicking this process, players extract narratives about "The Family TM" by texting short code prompts

directly from their phones, simultaneously observing the family and encouraging their endless performance.
